SEROPTYX TRAINING WORKS!

"I think it is worth noting that there is a very real difference in what we "thought" that training was and what you do. Although we had more than 18 hours of formal classroom training...something which we had done on several occasions in the past...the focus on ACTION was something that has always been missing and was definitely needed. It was indeed the "action asignments" and the coaching of our people in their own working environment that has made all the difference in moving us toward attaining our overall mission."

Gregory L. Silver

Gregory Silver, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of Technology at Seroptyx, Inc.
Gregory began his career as a Computer Tech in Vero Beach, Fl for small to medium sized businesses. He earned the opportunity to work at Duro Communications, a south east regional communications acquisition company, where he was able to participate as an innovator for the massively growing need for business communications and internet connectivity. There he helped create a multi-tier backbone, in the south-east region of the USA, to give companies like MPInet, Florida Online, Digital.net and many others, the power to give millions of users' home and small business internet connectivity. In 2000 he moved to Fort Myers, Fl to help open FishingWorks.com. There he established cutting edge e-commerce, user interface designs and user communication systems.
From FishingWorks.com, Gregory turned his focus to higher education and delivery of innovative training, working with Richard F. LeBlanc at IMPAC University. As an expert in software, hardware, and networking technologies, Gregory was able to share this knowledge with staff and students alike, while also managing the University's technology infrastructure.
Working hands on for over 11 years in the industry, at Seroptyx Gregory has integrated state-of-the-art technologies into every area of the organization. Yet, while technology can perform many advanced and sophisticated tasks, he recognizes that it is still people who make Seroptyx run. More importantly, he understands that technology is only useful when people can take advantage of its capabilities and when it serves specific, useful purposes. To that end, Gregory's continuing goal is to assist Seroptyx staff and clients to do more than just simply use technology his goal is to help them find every possible way to take advantage of its capabilities for teaching, learning, and operations, now and in the future.
